Ahead of BSC Expo 2024, Sony has announced upcoming firmware updates for some of the most popular cameras in their Cinema Line including the FX6, FX3, and FX30. At BSC 2024, Sony is also bringing their newest addition to the Cinema Lineup - the BURANO, as well as previewing the upcoming VENICE 2 firmware update v3.0. At BSC, visitors will also have the opportunity to preview early prototype firmware versions of the upcoming updates to the aforementioned FX3, FX30, and FX6 cameras.

ARRI keeps shipping incredible updates for their latest ALEXA 35 cinema camera, and their newest release - the CCM-1 camera control monitor. The newly released SUP 1.2.1 for the ALEXA 35 brings exciting new features designed to make the CCM-1 even more integrated with the ALEXA 35 in addition to bringing more colour management options for DIT's, colourists, and cinematographers shooting projects with the ALEXA 35 and its brand new colour science.

Sony has released a new firmware update for their FR7 4K full-frame PTZ cinema camera. The latest Sony FR7 firmware update version 2.0 adds support for free-d protocol for VR/AR systems, support for 3rd party lens controllers to operate manual zoom lenses, adjustable Zoom/Focus speeds when restoring a preset position and much more.

ARRI has just released SUP 7.3 firmware update for the ALEXA Mini LF. ALEXA Mini LF SUP 7.3 is a welcome update, which adds the long-awaited support for the new ARRI CCM-1 Camera Control Monitor and also includes other improvements suggested by the community of ARRI users and industry professionals.
