Swiss-based film & TV equipment manufacturer ActionProducts just released their latest Alexa MINI accessories. Similar to their modular line-up of accessories for RED Epic/Scarlet, ActionProducts equips the Alexa Mini with everything you can dream of to configure them for everything from an A-Camera package to hand-held, rig, stabilized, gimbal or wireless operation.
The big pre-NAB announcement this year was definitely the much anticipated Canon C300 Mark II. The latest EOS cinema camera from Canon is packed with a ton of advance features including in-camera 10-bit 422 4K recording up to 30p in the new Canon developed XF-AVC codec as well as slow motion in 1080p/2K up to 120 frames per second. At the heart of the new C300 Mark II lays a brand new 8.85MP Super 35 CMOS 4K sensor capable if the phenomenal 15 stops of dynamic range.
Every year in the beginning of April thousands upon thousands of video professionals and industry folks descend upon the desert oasis and get lost in the lavishness of Las Vegas for the biggest broadcast video trade show in the world – The National Association of Broadcasters Show, or simply NAB Show.
We love the last week of February, as it's the one time of the year where the UK broadcast video industry gets together for Broadcast Video Expo. Bigger and better than ever, BVE 2015 was once again held at the London Excel centre in East London, where major and independent brands from all over the UK and Europe, dealer, and tens of thousands of video professionals and enthusiasts from all walks of life got a rare chance to get their hands on the latest video and audio kit.
