Sigma have announced the new 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sport lens which is the first 10× optical zoom telephoto lens with a tele end of 600mm ! Quite impressive I think you will agree. This joins the other 4 lenses launched at IBC with a launch date scheduled for October, 2018.

Sigma has released a host of firmware updates for their lenses in June so I thought I would consolidate them in this one blog. For those of you that are new to Sigma they are a lens manufacturer which produce some great lenses for both still and video cameras which have an excellent performance

At the start of the CP+ photo exhibition in Japan earlier this morning, SIGMA announced four new lenses including the world’s first f/1.8, ultra-wide 14mm prime, The new Sigma 14mm f1.8 covers full-frame sensors and is designed for high resolution cameras making it ideal for architecture, astrophotography, documentary and landscapes.
