Recently Panasonic invited filmmakers and DP's from all over the globe for their #DVX4KTour in Japan promoting their latest 4K camera - the long-awaited AG-DVX200, the successor to the hugely popular, and quite revolutionary for its day DVX100B.
Panasonic just released the latest firmware update 4.0 for the Varicam 35 and HS models. The firmware update is free, and it adds support for the Codex Raw recorder on the Varicam 35, support for anamorphic shooting and image flip on the sub-recorder (the Varicam features a dual recording system).
The Varicam 35 features next-generation modular two-piece design will deliver unprecedented flexibility, allowing you to move between the worlds of cinema, TV episodic, sports, documentary, and other content creation with extraordinary ease and efficiencies.
At InfoComm 2015, Panasonic has previewed the professional video industry's first integrated 4K pan/tilt/zoom camera, the AW-UE70. The AW-UE70 delivers UltraHD 3840 x 2160 resolution images at 29.97p/25p via HDMI, and is also capable of 4K IP streaming and in-camera 4K recording.
The beautiful World Heritage sites in Turkey - "Historic Areas of Istanbul", "Goreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia", and "Hierapolic-Pamukkale" were captured with the Panasonic professional 4K camera, VariCam 35.
