Protech’s ST-7RP200 shoulder mount adaptor package has been designed to work with the latest 4K camera from Panasonic - the AG-DVX200. When used together with the ST-7R, this new shoulder mount adapter allows the camera to work like an ENG-style shoulder mounted camera.
Ever since it was announced at NAB 2015 back in April, the new Panasonic DVX200 has been at the tip of everyone's tongue. The first of its kind to use a 4K large sensor CMOS sensor and a fixed 13x zoom lens, made by Leica nonetheless, the DVX200 has a lot to offer, but also a lot to prove in an already crowded party.
At IBC 2015, Panasonic showcased their latest broadcast industry products, which included the brand new 4K AG-DVX200 and the recently updated Varicam 35 and HS.
The Panasonic VariCam is once again in use at the BBC Natural History Unit, which has ordered both the 4K and high speed (HS) versions of the flagship Panasonic camera. The decision was made following a three month test shoot, supported directly by Panasonic.
The world of documentary filmmaking is anxiously awaiting the release of the new 4K Panasonic AG-DVX200. Just like its predecessor the mighty DVX100, the DVX200 is set to revolutionize the way we capture events, sports, documentaries, wedddings, corporate videos and everything in between.
