Atomos launch new Sumo19M HDR 1200nit high brightness production and studio monitor at IBC 2017. Sumo19M is a monitor-only variant of the Sumo19 launched at NAB earlier in the year. The Sumo19M is optimised for monitoring, with a reconfigured user interface and dual SDI inputs for A/B comparison.
Atomos release the first production monitor that records 4K 12bit RAW, 10bit ProRes/DNxHR, plus 1080p60 live switching and recording - the Atomos SUMO. A on-set and in-studio 4Kp60 HDR 19" monitor/recorder.
The flagship Atomos 4K recorder and HDMI monitor - Shogun Inferno is now shipping. The latest 7-inch monitor/recorder from Atomos is a truly magnificent tool for HDR monitoring, which makes shooting LOG so much easier regardless of what camera you are using.
The Atomos Shogun is the perfect companion to the Panasonic GH4, which already shoots 4K internally on SDXC cards, however for those wanting to upgrade their footage to a 10bit 422 chroma sampling – the Atomos Shogun will provide such recording capabilities via HDMI. The Sony A7s with its full frame super-sensitive sensor can currently record 1080p internally, however the Shogun can unlock the true potential of this phenomenal camera giving it the 4K (UHD) treatment.
The Atomos Shogun was one of the hottest announcements at this year's NAB Show in Las Vegas back in April. Carrying the DNA of their highly successful monitor recorders – the NINJA and SAMURAI Blade, the Shogun is the world's first 4K HDMI Monitor Recorder.
