Sony has announced the world's fastest SD cards with write speeds of up to 299 MB/s, which should be plenty for even the most demanding 4K recording. The new Sony SF-G Series SDXC cards are planned to be available in Spring 2017.

SmallHD just announced a new SmallHD Reference Grade 17-inch IPS LCD Monitor for productions requiring cinema grade colour and also a new 702 OLED 7-inch monitor.

Rode Microphones's parent company Freedman Electronics is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and to commemorate this event, Rode is slated to release a bunch of new exciting microphones in addition to their latest generation on-camera microphone for DSLR and compact camera users called the Rode VideoMic PRO+ later in 2017.

SIGMA recently announced the pricing for their High Speed Cine Zoom lenses, the 18-35mm T2 and the 50-100mm T2, which will start shipping in December in North America for $3,999 each. UK and EU pricing as well as availability has not yet been announced. The company is also yet to announce pricing on their Cine Prime lenses that were announced at IBC 2016.
