Sony just released the latest firmware update version 7.01 for their PMW-F5 and F55 cameras adding some highly anticipated features such as Quick Menu, improved Zebras, new simultaneous recording mode and BT.2020 colour space support on the F55.

Panasonic is set to revolutionize the world of high-end digital cinema acquisition once again by introducing a brand new Varicam cinema camera in early February.
