This week we are covering the newly released ALEXA Mini LF SUP 7.3 and CCM-1 SUP 5.5.1 updates from ARRI, the Panasonic AV-HSW10 portable IP-live switcher, and our latest October Savings on select Blackmagic Design switchers and accessories.
ARRI has released new firmware updates for the ALEXA Mini LF and the new CCM-1 camera control monitor. ALEXA Mini LF SUP 7.3 adds the long-awaited support for the CCM-1 as well as touchscreen functionality to the MVF-2 viewfinder, just like they did witht the ALEXA 35 prior. Other new features in SUP 7.3 include improved Audio Gain interface, erase media warnings, and other stability and performance improvements. The CCM-1 SUP 5.5.1 on the other hand must be installed on the monitor in order for it to support full functionality with the ALEXA Mini LF. SUP 5.5.1 also brings support for ExFat formatted USB memory sticks, which are now recognized.
The Panasonic AV-HSW10 is a compact IP live switcher that is very suitable for educational institutions, corporate presentations or live streams combining a wide range of professional I/O such as SDI, HDMI and NDI. A Swiss-army knife of a switcher houses in a rugged chassis, the HSW10 offers intuitive controls and an ergonomic approach to your workflow. In addition to advanced features such as auto-frame sync on each input, which ensures your audio is always in sync you also have the ability to use Stills as internal sources. The NDI and NDI HX2 support makes it easy to integrate the switcher with the latest line-up of Panasonic IP-enabled PTZ cameras. The switcher also supports the high-performance SRT protocol, which gives you extra security, while RTMP support allows you to stream directly to Youtube or Twitch.
