This week we are featuring the latest Duvo 25-1000mm Cinema Box Lens from Fujinon, Atomos' firmware updates for Atomos connect devices and Dedolight's optical accessories for the Prolycht Orion 675 FS and 300 FS LED spotlights.
FUJI has announced that their Fujinon Duvo 25-1000mm Cinema Box Lens is now shipping. The Fujinon 25-1000mm features a variable aperture from f2.8 to f5 and is equipped with a native PL mount. The lens has been designed for use with Super 35 and large format sensors on cameras such as the Sony VENICE making it perfect for capturing cinematic concerts and large venue events. Aimed at broadcasters and live events production companies, the Duvo 25-1000mm also features a 1.5x expander, making it compatible with full-frame sensors, in addition to optical image stabilisation, which thanks to its anti-vibration mechanism compensates for the impact of wind, footsteps and hand micro movements. In addition, the lens also features automatic CA correction and is compatible with a range of ARRI and Preston wireless controllers.
Atomos Connect Series of devices now support both wired Ethernet and wireless NDI connectivity. Available now as a paid firmware upgrade, which is compatible with the Shogun Connect, Ninja V+ and Ninja V equipped with Atomos Connect. This update lets users take advantage of the amazing IP network capabilities of the NDI proctol and transmit in 1080p30 or 1080p60 to a switcher depending on device used, while also recording ProRes or DNx at the same time. The Atomos NDI capable devices make it possible for HDMI and SDI cameras to be used as fully mobile sources as part of large productions, thus being able to be viewed, recorded, or used as a live source as part of a multi-cam setup.
Legendary lighting and accessories maker Dedolight has announced new Optical Accessories for the Prolycht Orion 675 FS and 300 FS LED spotlights. Even though Prolytch offers their own line of accessories for the Orion spotlights, Dedolights optimised optical accessories for precision lighting will elevate the lights performance and are perfect for virtual production sets. Gaffers and cinematographers can benefit from the newly optimised DP400 projection system with the choice of three lenses a 100mm, a 150mm, and a 185mm. Other accessories include a Zoom and Parallel Beam adapter, which are perfect for bouncing light off of Lightbridge Panels in addition to a Wide Angle adapter, which expands the beam of the Orion 300 to 80 degrees providing a wide coverage.
