Cooke Optics plan to launch new S7/i Full Frame Plus Primes at the upcoming NAB 2017 show. Designed to cover full frame cinema camera sensor area (46.31mm image circle), up to the full sensor area of the RED Weapon 8K.

The lenses are planned to start shipping in June 2017 and will be available in focal lengths of 18, 25, 32, 40, 50, 75, 100 and 135mm. All Cooke S7/i Full Frame Plus Primes will have a consistent T2.0 aperture and cover 35/Super 35mm, Full Frame and beyond.
Cooke promises superb optical and mechanical performance control of flare distortion, veiling glare and spherical aberrations at full aperture. The cam-type focus mechanism allows for smooth focus adjustments.
These S7/i Full Frame plus primes come equipped with /i Technology for frame x frame digital information capture for film and digital. Designed for all PL mounts and providing cinematographers with vital information on lens setting, focusing distance, aperture and depth of field, hyper-focal distance, serial number, owner data, lens type and focal length in both metric and footage measurements. For zoom lenses, the zoom position is displayed.
