Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel

Up your colour grading productions with the new Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel. This panel is the next step up in functionality from the Micro panel but without all the features of the Advanced panel. However, it does include DaVinci Resolve Studio software. The Resolve Mini Panel is a portable control surface suitable for those that need to switch between editing and colour grading. It can sit on your desktop or in a rack or can be bolted to a surface.

And just as with the Micro panel, the DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel features 3 x high-resolution, weighted trackballs and 12 x control knobs for accessing essential primary colour-correction tools in the Resolve software. Eighteen dedicated keys on the right side also give you access to the most commonly used grading features and playback controls.

However, the Mini Panel also features 2 x LCD screens that allow you to display menus or the parameters of the tools you are working with. Eight customizable soft knobs provide precise control and a quick reset by pushing the knob. Dedicated feature buttons allow you to change tools without needing to use the mouse. The Mini panel incorporates both USB-C and Ethernet interfaces.

It is compatible with Mac, Windows, and select Linux systems. You can power the panel via an AC power source, a 4-pin XLR connector, or PoE.

Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini lets you share your media files globally, eliminating the high cost of collaborating with talented editors and colourists around the world! The Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini is storage that syncs and shares media with Dropbox and Google Drive.

It even understands proxy workflows, so a whole timeline and its media can be shared in minutes. The internal memory core is so fast it can saturate the 10G Ethernet port to its theoretical maximum speed, even with multiple users connected. File access is very low latency, so responsiveness is fast. That means it's perfect for sharing large media files between editors, colourists, audio engineers and VFX artists.

Compact and Portable Design

The Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini features a compact rack mount design that's very portable and whisper quiet. Internally it has an array of 4 flash memory cards working in parallel for higher speeds. The 10G Ethernet port and the 1G Ethernet port operate as a 2-port network switch, which is great if you don't have a 10G Ethernet network, as you can connect the 10G port directly into your computer and the 1G port to your existing network.

If you need to access files quickly, then the USB Type-C port also operates as a network port - just plug it into your computer. There is also an HDMI monitoring output so you can watch a live graphic view of the storage operating on a TV or monitor.

Flash Memory Allows for Multiple Simultaneous Users

The Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini is available with 8TB of flash memory, so you have lots of space for your files. That's fantastic for television production, as it's small enough to be portable, but it has enough storage space for lots of video media.

M.2 flash memory cards are used for extreme reliability, high access speeds, and zero seek times. Plus, the four M.2 cards are arranged in a parallel RAID 0 group so they can operate much faster than a single card. That ensures enough speed to keep up with the 10G Ethernet connection. Plus, in the future, as new larger M.2 cards are released, the flash memory cards can be replaced with new ones. That helps ensure a very long life.

10G Speed - High Performance for Digital Film Files

With a separate high-speed 10G Ethernet connection, the Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini is very fast. The internal memory core has been designed to saturate the 10G Ethernet port to its theoretical maximum speed, even with multiple users connected. Plus, files can be accessed with low latency, so responsiveness is fast. That's possible because of the parallel processing used by the memory core.

Even at maximum speed, the Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini is extremely quiet with very little noise from the cooling fan, even when editing large 12K digital raw files. Multi-cam editing is also very smooth, even if it's used with large digital film camera files.

Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini

The Blackmagic UltraStudio 4K Mini Thunderbolt 3 links a Thunderbolt 3 equipped computer to any of a variety of video components for capture, playback, or streaming. This portable unit captures up to DCI 4K/60 4:2:2 via single-link 12G-SDI or up to DCI 4K/30 4:2:2 video via HDMI. Record 12-bit High Dynamic Range (HDR) footage at rates up to DCI 4K/30 and 8-/10-bit video at rates up to DCI 4K60.

Additionally, a built-in LCD screen enables users to monitor the signal, while an SD card reader provides instant access to your SD media. The compact UltraStudio 4K Mini's Thunderbolt 3 interface offers lightning-fast connections and will trickle-charge a connected computer. Audio features include 16-channel SDI and 8-channel HDMI embedded input and output, a 3-pin XLR audio input, and a headphone output.

The UltraStudio Mini 4K Thunderbolt 3 supports both compressed and uncompressed video, is Windows, macOS, and Linux compatible, and supports most popular codecs. The UltraStudio 4K Mini also supports 3D capture and playback via HDMI, plus 3D SDI playback at rates up to DCI 4K/30.
