The Gorilla Plate V2 is a versatile baseplate that is specifically designed for smaller cameras, such as DSLRs. It stands out as the only baseplate that is compatible with the Panasonic GH3 when paired with a Zacuto Z-Finder. This baseplate is attached to the camera using a standard ¼ 20 screw, and it also features a 15mm rod port on the underside. This port is controlled by a Zacuto quick release ratcheting lever, allowing for easy customization and the addition of accessories such as handgrips or run’n’gun kits. Additionally, the Gorilla Plate V2 allows for quick transitions between handheld and tripod use by mounting the tripod plate underneath.
