A lever and ring on the lens barrel allow zoom speed to be freely adjusted as required while maintaining a sure, stable grip. Sony G Lenses are renowned for their beautifully smooth background bokeh. A 7-blade circular aperture design is part of the reason, enhancing smoothness and producing natural highlights. Smooth background defocusing can make the in-focus subject really stand out in images with almost three-dimensional depth.
