The AW-UE5 compact ultra-wide angle 4K PTZ with AI Auto Framing and NDI® HX3 capabilities was announced at NAB 2026 and will be introduced in July 2026. The UE5 is a compact 4K integrated camera equipped with an ultra-wide 121° horizontal field of view, designed to capture wide scenes in full. With the new, AI-powered Group Framing function, the field of view is automatically adjusted according to the situation to enable automated camera work.

It is compatible with NDI® HX2 and NDI® HX3, enabling high quality IP video transmission with optimized bandwidth efficiency. Video sources are discoverable by any device on the same network, including those with unknown IP addresses, supporting a flexible and scalable IP video production environment.

The UE5 supports RTMP/RTMPS for direct upload and streaming of video on services such as YouTube Live or Facebook Live. Video can be uploaded and streamed directly from the camera to live streaming services.

Group Framing with AI

Automatically adjusts the field of view to ensure all participants within the capture area, such as in web conferences, are framed correctly. The view is reoptimized whenever participants enter or leave the meeting.

Preset Framing

Automatically switches to a predefined field of view when someone enters a preset area, such as a podium or stage. This enables automated camera operation even with minimal staffing.

Single Cable Solution

The UE5 supports single-cable operation whereby video and audio, control and power can be provided via a single CAT5 cable thanks to the Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature. Power can also be provided via USB-C, whilst video and audio are outputted via HDMI. There is also a mounting hole at the rear of the camera to secure it using a Kensington lock
