Exceptional close focus
S4 FF/i offers class-leading close focus across the set, averaging just over fifteen inches (385mm). Hands and small details can fill the frame, and performance holds from infinity to the minimum object distance. At T2.0 on full frame, the depth of field is shallow and expressive.

The result is a set that adapts to a wide range of shooting conditions especially when operating handheld. Compact large-format, built to perform in the most extreme scenarios.

Dependable character
Modern, but never clinical. S4 FF/i is the everyday set: dependable, compact and full frame, balancing modern resolution with dimensionality across a focused range of focal lengths. Designed around proximity and practicality, it’s precision without bulk and intimacy without compromise, with contrast and sharpness that stay consistent across the set.
