Canford Stereo Headphone Amplifier MK I (Used)
The Canford Audio battery powered headphone amplifier allows connection of stereo headphones to nominally line level sources. Two high impedance, electronically balanced inputs (with DC protection), are provided via two female 3-pin XLR connectors. A three-position, slide switch selects between A/B stereo, MS stereo or mono (A+B) formats on the XLR inputs. A dual-gang volume control is provided, with the output available on both 6.35mm A-gauge and 3.5mm stereo jacks. The amplifier is built in a robust standard extruded box, fitted with protective ABS bezels. A three-position toggle switch selects between internal battery, external DC (9V) and off.
