ARRI has recently introduced a new large-format system, set to be available from Summer 2019, that offers unparalleled creative freedom and exceeds modern production requirements. This system includes the ALEXA LF camera, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount, and PL-to-LPL adapter, all designed to take full advantage of the enlarged sensor while maintaining compatibility with existing lenses, accessories, and workflows.

The ARRI Signature Primes, ranging from 12mm to 280mm and fitted with the ARRI LPL mount, are the perfect complement to the ALEXA LF camera. These lenses not only showcase state-of-the-art optical precision, but also deliver emotionally engaging images with natural skin tones and creamy bokeh. Additionally, the lenses are incredibly lightweight and robust, thanks to their machined magnesium lens barrels, and feature ARRIs next-generation LDS-2 Lens Data System, which offers high data rates and absolute encoders for fast initialization. This system is also being licensed to other lens and camera manufacturers, further expanding its capabilities.
