How the Auction Works

The Auction will run for a limited time, but you will have enough time to view the auction lots and items before you decide to bid, giving you plenty of time to decide which specific items you want to bid. And we can assure you, there are some incredible bargains of carefully curated used and ex-demo equipment from all your favourite brands.

Create an account using the link below to secure your place in the auction. Registration is free and takes less than two minutes.

Receive Confirmation

You'll receive an email with your registration confirmation and all the details you need.

View Auction Lots

Take a look at all the lots before the auction to plan your bids.

Place Your Bids

From 11th November, log in to your auction account and bid on the items you want. Track your bids in real-time and get notified if you're outbid. If a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of an auction ending, the closing time of said auction is automatically extended by 2 minutes.

Viewing Day (Optional)

19th November - by prior appointment only; 10:00am - 3:00pm in Teddington, London to inspect items in person.

Winning an Item

When the auction ends, if your bid is the highest and the reserve price is met, our team will contact you.

Payment

You'll receive an invoice after the auction closes. Payment must be made in full within seven days via bank transfer. Payment instructions are included in your confirmation email.

Collection

Once payment is confirmed, arrange to collect your item from our London office: Visual Impact UK, Unit 4 Teddington Business Park, Station Road, Teddington TW11 9BQ. Collection is during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I bid on lots included in the auction?

All bidders must register before bidding and provide suitable identification using the Visuals online auction platform. Once registered, you can view the lots included in the auction and once bidding opens you can start placing bids.

Q: When does the auction start? When can I start bidding?

Registration for the auction via our website is mandatory and it opens on 4th November. Bidding opens 11th November, at which point you can commence bidding on lots and it will continue for two weeks until 25th November 2025.

Q: When does the auction end?

The auction lots start to close at 10:00am on Tuesday 25th November in the order in which they started. For example, Lot 1 closes at 10:00am, Lot 2 closes at 10:15am and so on until the end of the day. If a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of an auction end, the closing time of that auction is automatically extended by 2 minutes. We encourage you to bid before the auction end as to avoid missing the end of the auction for the lots you are interested in.

Q: Can I view the lots before bidding?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to come and inspect items at our London office.

Q: How and when do I pay for auctions I've won?

After you win an auction you must pay for the goods in full via bank transfer within 7 business days. All purchased lots must be removed by Friday 5th December 2025 to avoid late collection storage fees. Risk passes to the Buyer upon the fall of the hammer. The Buyer is responsible for packing, handling, and transport arrangements. We can provide transport quotations upon request.

Q: Are there any fees such as hammer or bidding fees?

This auction is a No Hammer Fee auction, which means that no buyer's premium will be added to the Hammer Price. What you bid is what you pay, in addition to Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 20%), which we are required by law to add to the Purchase Price.

Q: How do I pay for the goods?

Payment must be made in full, by bank transfer, to Visual Impact UK Limited within seven (7) business days of the auction’s completion. Payment details will be provided on the buyer’s invoice within 24 hours of auction close. Title to any lot does not pass until full payment is received.

Q: When and where do I collect the goods from?

All purchased lots must be collected from Visual Impact UK, Unit 4 Teddington Business Park, Station Road, Teddington, TW11 9BQ by Friday 5th December 2025 to avoid late collection storage fees.

Q: Is there a warranty on items included in the auction?

All goods in the auction are sold “as is” without warranty of any kind. Bidders are responsible for inspecting lots before bidding. Descriptions are provided as a guide only and do not constitute a warranty.

Q: Do you charge VAT or other fees? Can I ship the goods myself internationally?

All UK-destined purchases are subject to 20% VAT. Export purchasers must provide valid export documentation, subject to Visual Impact’s approval. Failure to pay within the required time frame may result in legal action for breach of contract.

Q: Is this a reserve or non-reserve auction?

Some lots may be subject to reserve prices. The Auctioneer may bid on behalf of the seller up to the reserve price. In the event that the reserve is not met, the lot may be withdrawn or passed.
