How the Auction Works
The auction runs for a limited time, but you’ll have plenty of opportunity to view all lots before bidding.
Steps to Participate
Register your interest
Create an account using the registration link. It’s free and takes less than two minutes.
Receive confirmation
You’ll receive an email confirming your registration with all the details you need.
View auction lots
Browse all lots in advance so you can plan which items you want to bid on.
Place your bids
Once bidding opens, log in and place your bids. If a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of an auction ending, the closing time is automatically extended by 2 minutes.
Viewing day (optional)
A viewing day (by appointment only) will be held 10:00–15:00 in Teddington, London so you can inspect items in person.
Winning an item
When the auction ends, if your bid is highest and the reserve is met, our team will contact you.
Payment
You’ll receive an invoice after the auction closes. Payment must be made in full within seven days via bank transfer.
Collection
Once payment is confirmed, collect your items from Visual Impact UK, Unit 4 Teddington Business Park, Station Road, Teddington TW11 9BQ (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00).

How can I bid on lots included in the auction? +
All bidders must register before bidding and provide suitable identification using the Visuals online auction platform. Once registered, you can view the lots included in the auction and, once bidding opens, you can start placing bids.
When does the auction start and when can I start bidding? +
Registration for the auction via our website is mandatory and opens one week before the start of the auction. Once the auction starts, you can commence bidding on lots and it will continue for two weeks.
When does the auction end? +
Auction lots start to close at 10:00am on the final day, in the order they started. If a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of an auction ending, the closing time for that lot is automatically extended by 2 minutes.
Can I view the lots before bidding? +
Yes. You will have the opportunity to inspect items at our London office on the designated viewing day by prior appointment.
How and when do I pay for auctions I've won? +
After you win an auction, you must pay for the goods in full via bank transfer within 7 business days. All purchased lots must be removed within 10 days of auction end to avoid late collection storage fees.
Are there any fees such as hammer or bidding fees? +
This auction is a No Hammer Fee auction, which means that no buyer's premium is added to the hammer price. What you bid is what you pay, in addition to VAT at the prevailing rate.
How do I pay for the goods? +
Payment must be made in full by bank transfer to Visual Impact UK Limited within seven (7) business days of the auction’s completion. Payment details will be provided on the buyer’s invoice within 24 hours of auction close. Title to any lot does not pass until full payment is received.
When and where do I collect the goods? +
All purchased lots must be collected from Visual Impact UK, Unit 4 Teddington Business Park, Station Road, Teddington, TW11 9BQ within 10 days from the end of the auction to avoid late collection storage fees.
Is there a warranty on items included in the auction? +
All goods in the auction are sold “as is” without warranty of any kind. Bidders are responsible for inspecting lots before bidding. Descriptions are provided as a guide only and do not constitute a warranty.
Do you charge VAT or other fees? Can I ship internationally? +
All UK-destined purchases are subject to 20% VAT. Export purchasers must provide valid export documentation, subject to Visual Impact’s approval.
Is this a reserve or non-reserve auction? +
Some lots may be subject to reserve prices. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the seller up to the reserve price. If the reserve is not met, the lot may be withdrawn or passed.
