This hands-on event is held at the Sony DMPC at Pinewood Studios, a dedicated demo and training facility, making it the ideal setting for attendees to experience the incredible capabilities of the new Sony VENICE Extension Mini and Sony VENICE 2 and get up close and personal with the latest addition to the Sony cine family. You will be one of the first in the UK to get valuable hands-on experience with this kit, speak to Sony specialists and see how the new VENICE Extension Mini and VENICE 2 can fit into your cine production workflow.The VENICE Extension Mini is 70% more compact and smaller than the previous model, making it ideal for action-packed shots and immersive perspectives. The palm-sized head now comes with its own 8.6K sensor, same as the VENICE 2, capable of world-class dynamic range and cinematic expression, while the 4.5m cable is now detachable making it easier for camera assistants and DoPs to rig the camera in more creative ways. The removable ND filters are easy to swap by hand, while the built-in gyro with metadata makes it a breeze to stabilize the footage in post.
The day is split into two sessions: the morning session starts at 11 am to 1pm, and the afternoon session runs from 2pm to 4pm.
You will leave this session with:

- The various ways the VENICE Extension Mini can be configured to expand your production workflow and the flexibility it offers
- Valuable hands-on experience and your questions answered by Sony specialists
This event is suitable for anyone who is interested in purchasing/hiring the Sony VENICE 2 and/or Sony VENICE Extension Mini such as cinematographers, DoPs, camera operators, camera assistants, producers, directors, rental facility owners/managers, and production decision makers.
What you will need on the event day? You will require a photographic ID to present upon arrival at Pinewood Studios' main reception.

This hands-on event is held at Sony DMPC in Pinewood Studios and will feature Sony specialists from the DMPC, as well as our cine specialists from the Visual Impact team, who will assist you during the event and also answer any questions you may have.Please plan to arrive on time and bring photo ID as you will need to check-in at security upon entrance. Visitors parking operates on a first come, first serve basis, and the event will be held during a busy period for the Studios, please plan your arrival accordingly.
Due to limited space we cannot guarantee entry. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, all our events operate on a first come first served basis. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
