Rotolight at IBC 2019

Rotolight have made the move into cine lighting with the launch of their new Rotolight Titan X2 RGBWW Pro LED Panel. Rotolight have plenty of experience and pedigree with their RL48, a dimmable ring light styled LED ideal for compact on-camera solution for run and gun or red-carpet events. However the Titan X2 is a whole new ball-game aimed at high-end cinema lighting.

It’s not cheap, priced between the ARRI's SkyPanel and the Litepanels Gemini 2x1 and they have no experience in the top-end so it may be a tough market to crack. Having said that, on paper at least the technology and performance looks good, it remains to be seen if people are suitably impressed when they see it for themselves.
