Sony FX6 Webinar
Sony is getting ready for one of their most important camera releases this year. Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 17
Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 17 - a major update to their industry leading professional creative suite. Resolve 17 comes packed with over 300 new features including new HDR colour correction tools, expanded Wide Gamut colour space, a new Magic Mask utilising the power of the DaVinci Neural Engine and much more. Fairlight also gets a new audio core engine giving sound editors access to up to 2000 tracks with real time EQ. In addition, Blackmagic also announced a new Speed Editor keyboard for streamlining your edit workflow in the Cut page.
Teradek Bolt 4k firmware update
Teradek also released a new firmware update for their Bolt 4K range of professional wireless systems. The latest update adds support for the Bolt 4K LT models as well as improves startup times from boot-up to connection by around 50%. Other major improvements include Fixed Frequency Mode which allows users to specify a single frequency thus reducing linkup times. The new firmware also brings more pairing capabilities such as allowing a single Bolt 4K receiver to pair with up to 4 transmitters, as well as increasing RF reliability for a stronger connection.
