Fujifilm have just launched a couple of brand new cinema lenses part of their new MK Series. The new lenses include an MK 18-55mm T2.9 and a 50-135mm T2.9 specifically designed for E-mount cameras such as the Sony FS7 II, FS7, and PXW-FS5 just to name a few. The new cinema lenses feature advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, as well as superb cost performance.
The mirrorless camera market has been booming in the last couple of years, and it has been a market largely dominated by 4K video enabled cameras from the likes of Sony and Panasonic with their GH4, GX80, and Sony A7rII or A7sII. Fujifilm is about to debut a brand new addition to their Cabrio range - the XK 6x20 light weight cine zoom with the impressive 20-120mm range at T3.5 constant aperture. The new light weight zoom lens will be available in industry standard PL mount thus making it a perfect fit for Super35 digital cameras such as the ARRI Amira, Sony PMW-F55, Varicam LT, and C300 PL mount.
