The new ARRI AMIRA is a 35mm format professional digital documentary-style camera for the 21st century; a video camera that embodies ARRI’s engineering prowess and indisputable legacy in the professional film business over the past 100 years. The ARRI AMIRA is the sum of flawless design, ergonomics and impeccable image quality with immense versatility.

The main features of the ARRI AMIRA include frame rates from 0.75-100 fps, multiple recording formats (such as ProRes 422 (Proxy), 422 (LT), 422 in Rec 709), 3 looks, in-camera adjustable image parameters and exposure control tools.

In the hands
The AMIRA has a rugged body that’s ready to shoot in any environment and robust enough to take anywhere with its sealed electronics and efficient cooling.

The ergonomic design is perfect for one-man operation with its extended shoulder-mounted setup. Sliding dovetails mean the ARRI AMIRA can balance comfortably on the shoulder for handheld shooting. The user-friendly multi-viewfinder combines a high resolution OLED eyepiece with a handy foldaway LCD monitor. This gives the user the option of live view and full access to camera functions.

This makes the ARRI AMIRA ideal for a whole raft of video production challenges such as documentary, reportage, corporate films, TV, and drama.

Ideal for
Ergonomically designed with a single-user interface, the AMIRA blends ARRI’s legendary quality and ease of use with the latest professional broadcast technology.

Users can adapt the camera for various shooting environments, utilising the 34mm format with cinematic PL glass for documentary and drama shoots, importing 3D LUTs. Alternatively, change the AMIRA lens mount to a B4 mount to accommodate 2/3" glass for 'run and gun' factual filming, and use the AMIRA's in-camera grading LUTs to ensure pictures are ready for broadcast, minimising time in post.

Features you need to know about
AMIRA records superior HD 1080, or 2K pictures, that are suitable for any distribution format. It also has a dynamic range of more than 14 stops, low noise levels, subtle highlight handling, natural colour rendering, breath-taking skin tones and speeds of up to 100 fps.

ARRI’s AMIRA records Rec 709 or Log C images using ProRes LT, 422, 422HQ or 444 codecs. The route into post-production is made as simple and efficient as possible by recording to the new in-camera CFast 2.0 flash memory cards with super-quick data rates, that are both affordable and highly reliable.
