Sony A7S II 35mm Full Frame 4K Camera
The latest Sony A7s II is a vast improvement over the predecessor A7s model, which was a huge success. The new model adds the same 12.2 Megapixel Full-Frame CMOS Sensor, but this time - the A7s II can record UHD 4K internally in XAVC-S 100Mb/s format onto SDXC affordable media cards. The predecessor model did not have internal 4K recording options.
Features
12.2 MP Full-Frame 4K CMOS sensor
14+ Stops Dynamic Range
5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Stabilization
1080p/120 fps Slow Motion
Internal 4K UHD Recording in XAVC-S
4K HDMI Output
S-log3 Gamma & Log View Assist
Other improvements include built-in In Body Image Stabilisation called 4K Steady Shot Inside by Sony, offering 5-axis image stabilisation in camera. This means, that if you use lenses, such as older vintage lenses or fully manual Zeiss lenses for example, which do not offer electronic image stabilisation in the lens body, the A7s II will stabilise your still or video images depending on the focal length you select in camera. This is cutting edge technology and once that will certainly benefit a lot of video users out there.
In addition, the A7s II can now record the impressive 120 frames per second slow motion in Full HD 1080p and also feature the latest S-Log3 gamma curve for maximum flexibility in post-production and maximum dynamic range.
Maximum ISO is again 409,600 a number that is as unique to this model as the images out if it. The excellent ISO performance makes the camera literally able to see in the dark and delivery usable, noisy free images in high ISO values where other cameras with smaller and less advanced image processors would struggle. For the professional and enthusiast stills photographers who demand maximum quality - there is 14bit uncompressed raw processing available.
