Canon Announces CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S - an Affordable Lightweight Cine Zoom with Optional Servo Unit

Just in time for NAB 2016, Canon unveils a brand new addition to their Cine Zoom range - the CN-E 18-80mm cine lens with a servo-zoom functionality to assist with ENG and documentary work. The new lightweight cine zoom is perfect for Cinema EOS camcorders such as C100 mark II and C300 mark II as well as the C500.

The new 18-80mm T4.4L IS KAS is just want most ENG shooters have been demanding for years - an affordable, yet decent range zoom that lives on the camera. Designed for professional and advanced enthusiast videographers using large format Super 35 single sensor cameras, the lens strengthens Canon’s line of cine-servo lenses, following in the footsteps of the CN7x17 and CN20x50.
