More choice with the camera PDW-530P capable of shooting 25P or 50i and recording four different compression rates of DVCAM (25Mbits professional DV), MPEG 2 Main level i-frame @ 30Mbits, 40Mbits or 50Mbits.

Editing with PDZ-1 software (supplied as standard with the decks), is straight forward. You can create simple cuts only EDLs and write the EDL as a sub-clip back to disk. Even the portable player has this ability.
