Visual Impact's service department in Teddington as been awarded Authorised Service Centre status by Sony.
This replaces the previous level of authorised service dealer and has been awarded to only a handful of companies in the UK.
To gain this ASC status Visual Impact were required to meet strict criteria both for personnel and equipment.
Independent Authorised Service Centres are fundamental to Sony's service strategy and provide customers with fast access to professional product support.
Authorised service partners are trained, managed and monitored by Sony so customers can expect the best possible service including rapid response and unrivalled technical expertise for complete peace of mind.
A recent customer survey highlighted the impact of the Authorised Service Centre network.
"If it were not for Sony service, I would not buy Sony products" responded one customer, while another describes Authorised Service Centres as "very professional".
The research shows that over 80% of customers interviewed are likely to recommend the network to other people and, in addition, when compared with other these customers rated Sony highest in terms of overall after-sales service and this gap is increasing.
