The Canon C300 EF mount has long been the true, tried and tested workhorse of the broadcast industry ever since it was unveiled back in 2011. The Canon Cinema EOS 300 is ground-breaking professional cine camera that fuses Canon’s proven video technology and lens heritage with EOS creativity. Interchangeable EF lenses give unprecedented freedom to tell every story.

The Canon C300 is the first professional camcorder with a large Super35 sensor to feature Dual-Pixel Auto Focus technology that works wonders by helping camera operators track subjects while moving - a feat that is very difficutl to achieve in video. Still photographers have benefited from auto-focus for decades, but it wasn't until the C300 and it's ground-breaking DAF feature that video professional were also able to benefit from this amazing feature. This feature is perfect for sit down interviews and documentaries where shooting scenarios are often unpredictable.

The Canon C300 has been extremely popular with documentary filmmakers as well as broadcaster due to the perfect combination of form factor - familiar features one would expect to find on a professional camera - such as dedicated buttons for ISO/Gain, White Balance, Zebras and built-in ND filters. The removable side hand grip allows fillmmakers to configure the camera for hand held shooting to best suit their style.
