The PAG Powerman is designed to provide a rugged and robust source of power for hand-held location lighting where alternative sources might be too difficult to either obtain or counterproductive to provide due to locations restrictions or otherwise. The case is tough, lightweight, and designed with rounded corners and edges for comfort during use. The Powerman can be worn rather than carried, by virtue of an adjustable shoulder strap (included) and a waist belt that features a curved body pad (available separately).

The weight is distributed evenly as the battery is held firmly but comfortably against the user's side. The PAG Powerman contains specially selected cells of superior quality which provide excellent voltage hold-up characteristics and, therefore, extended run-time. The battery features an end-of-discharge indicator and is protected from over discharge.

10, 11, 20 or 24 cells connected in series, nominal voltage 1.2V per cell.

Capacity:
7 Ampere-hours, measured at the five hour rate.

Over Discharge Protection:
All models incorporate the PAG ODP circuit which has been designed to prevent over-discharge of the Powerman battery pack, and thus extend the battery’s life. An advance warning light flashes and increases in frequency before the ODP circuit trips.

Thermal Protection:
The output socket becomes isolated if cell temperature exceeds 70°C and can be reset when the temperature falls. Re-set by pressing the ODP Re-set button.

Short Circuit Protection:
The battery is protected against short circuit and excessive current loads by means of a 20mm cartridge type fuse rated T10A (anti-surge). Spare fuse supplied in additional holder. Fuses retained by means of 1/4 turn bayonet type holders.

Output Connectors:
Twin XLR4 connectors wired in parallel as follows:
Pin 1: Negative (-)
Pin 2: No connection
Pin 3: No connection
Pin 4: Positive (+)
